 Whatever you choose to believe concerning the story of Mary and Joseph, travelling ninety miles in the ancient world, from Nazareth , along the Jordan River, up and down through the Judean Dessert and thick Forest, to the tiny town of a hundred residents of Bethlehem, for the Census, during the winter months, had to be a very long and difficult journey. The average person can walk about 20 miles per day. It is said Mary was somewhere between the age of 12 to 14, certainly close to nine months into her first pregnancy and Joseph was said to be a great deal older.  Travelers would have had to carry water in skin pouches and food . . . most likely bread, maybe some oil and herbs. It would've been wise to tote something for shelter in case of bad weather. Winters in that area experience 30 degree temps and loads of rain. The path taken was unpaved and there were Lion, Bear, Wild Boar, Thieves and Crazies they had to be prepared for. The journey surely took people like Mary and Joseph a week to ten days to complete. Ancient Bethlehem was known to only have one primitive Inn. It's widely agreed that the only shelter Jesus could've been born in was a nearby cave used to house animals. A JOYOUS CHRISTMAS TO ALL ! There was peace between them until humans invented the bow and arrow and began killing the animals for food and skins. The animal kingdom became very concerned about being wiped out completely and held a meeting. The bears were especially angry and vowed they'd fight back in the same way, but that just wasn't possible. A little deer named AWI USDI had an idea to visit humans as they slept as that was the safest way to get them to understand without risking anyone's life. So, that's what AWI USDI did. He whispered into the Hunters ears as they slept and told them: Whenever you wish to kill one of us you must prepare ceremoniously. You must ask permission to kill one of us. After you kill one of us, you must show respect for our Spirit and ask for our pardon. If you do not do this, then you will be cursed with crippled limbs and you won't be able to shoot your bow and arrow anymore. The Hunters awoke; some remembering the little deer as if it were a dream. Others were certain he had really visited them. Most honoured the request and only hunted when food and clothes were needed, and behaved with respect to their kill. The SEVENTH Spiritual Gift is called HOLY FEAR. It fills us with a sovereign respect for GOD and makes us dread nothing so much as to offend Him. It is a fear that arises NOT from the thought of hell, but from sentiments of reverence and filial submission to our Heavenly Father. It is this type of fear that is the beginning of WISDOM, detaching us from worldly pleasures that could in any way separate us from GOD. PRAYER: COME, O BLESSED SPIRIT OF HOLY FEAR; PENETRATE MY INMOST HEART THAT I MAY SET YOU, MY LORD AND GOD, BEFORE MY FACE FOREVER. HELP ME TO SHUN ALL THINGS THAT CAN OFFEND YOU AND MAKE ME WORTHY TO APPEAR BEFORE THE PURE EYES OF YOUR DIVINE MAJESTY IN HEAVEN, WHERE YOU LIVE AND REIGN IN THE UNITY OF THE EVER BLESSED TRINITY, GOD WORLD WITHOUT END. This exact spot is claimed to be a Spiritual Vortex. Montauk Indian Tribal Councils included twelve other local American Indian Tribes and were held at this location. As they gathered to discuss current events, the surrounding base of the rock would spontaneously erupt in flames which was seen as a beacon of light from vessels at sea. Many Supernatural events have been recorded at this place. The ghosts of Indians have been seen by many and the sounds of beating drums often reported.
