En plein air has always been my favorite way to sketch.

This one was done about ten days ago
using French watercolour on cold pressed paper
and Bic magic markers.

The Spring Bear was an added bonus.
He was big and slow
and I was safely locked in my car.

He seemed to be enjoying the last moments
of  early evening sun
and didn't seem to care about me at all.

If you look at the "TABS" on the top of this web page,
you'll notice one that says

SKETCHBOOK

Click on that to view more recent sketches.
I'll be adding to the collection continually.

Nice work babe. Let me know when you add more. Is any of it up for sale?

Thank you JJ ! There are better than 30 sketches uploaded now. You'll notice some pet portraits. I do them on commission, which depends on content and size. Sketches that are in a book shouldn't be ripped out for sale...but I will consider selling the entire sketchbook. These sketchbooks hold anywhere from 30 to 50,{ or more }, pages and are a pictorial diary. Email me with any specific requests. I'm best known for my oil portraits.

Looked at the paintings and liked them especially the up state scenes, really liked that you named them, gives a better idea of what you wanted to show.Colors were really nice and some of the land scapes would look nice on a wall.Animal pics were cute but not as interesting as the landscapes. But they all show that you are really talented. But just to bust your chops "they all suck". Talk to you soon
